Cinematic Photo Shoot

In March 2014 I had the opportunity to shoot two friends of ours, Swantje and Thomas, in “Filmcasino”, a Munich club that is inspired by the 1920ies movie scene. The photo shoot was with purpose since Swantje and Thomas needed image material for their wedding invitation. And as their wedding motto is “movies” the setting and their dress up was right on spot.

To me it was a rare opportunity for studio-like photography which I really enjoyed. The couple was more than enthusiastic to experiment and hence this is what we did. Using a mix of available light, my very basic studio lighting and different props we were able to achieve some satisfying results. See below.
